I've saved many frequencies on my TW100 with SDR#. I'm getting a new laptop and want to keep those lists. Is it possible to have the new install of SDR# recognize those lists?

On the new machine install SDR#, on the old machine copy the Frequencies XML document from the SDR# folder to a thumb drive, micro SD card etc. Plug the thumb drive, micro SD card etc into your new machine, copy the file to the folder SDR# is installed in on the new machine, replacing the original freq XML. Start SDR#, you should be good to go.

You could even install google drive on the old machine and drop the whole sdr folder in there. Then put google drive on the new machine and your sdr folder will be available to you there as well. You would not have to do a new install of sdr on the new machine. You would have exactly what was in the sdr folder on the old machine on the new laptop as soon as it syncs.

I did that with mine. All of my sdr stuff works out of my google drive. So if I make a change here, (home pc) it will be on my laptop. I also do not use any of the freq manager suite software... If you did, then that might make it tricky and may need to install that on the new laptop as well

So for me, and my simple needs, it works great...

That's a great Idea Dave! I'm going to try that! Thanks for the tip.
