Has anyone had issues with SDR# sticking on a frequency range even though another is tuned.

This has happened over multiple versions of SDR# and Windows, multiple setups(computers) and multiple different rtl-sdr's usb dongles

Usually happens if I let it sit on a frequency for awhile (60min) say 463.000 then tune to another using the number entry at the top 422.00 155.00 etc.

The ftt display will show the correct frequency range yet the signal will still be from the old range.

This also will happen quicker if I tune back and forth between ranges.

Doesn't seem to happen if using frequency manager + scanner to scan only when manually tuning

Shutting down SDR# and rerunning fixes the issue although it will occasionally not shutdown and require a an end task.

I've never had that issue. What version of SDR#, zadig driver, etc are you having the problem with?

Could it be a power or timeout issue on the USB? Are they plugged right into the port?

If it's a power or timeout issue on his PC, I would not expect anyone else to see it. It could also be an issue in that specific dongle. Or it might be a driver incompatibility that only he has.

All the dongles are the same cheap usb tv tuners. They are plugged directly in the usb port. I do notice it more if I use the mouse to grab and move the frequency range right click drag.

Never have experienced this but I never was on a frequency for that length of time. Very odd.

I've had something similar happen as well. Even to the point where I've clicked on a saved frequency and a completely different one would come up. The numbers in the upper left reflected the correct freq but not the ones underneath the display. And the issue disappears as quickly as it appears with no apparent cause. I'm clueless as to what's causing it.
