I can't really speak towards the merits of SDR# to give you any sort of real comparison between the two since I don't use SDR#, but I don't see why it would hurt to have both installed at the same time. I'm sure the biggest thing most people would say is that there are no plugins for SDR++ yet, but its still a pretty new project overall, and has a few quirks for me to get used to coming from GQRX, but the overall feature set it pretty tremendous in my opinion without getting super clunky and overly complicated, and the fact that it plays much nicer with rtl_tcp and has multiple VFO support makes it a winner over GQRX.
Also, just wanted to toss this out there, maybe the most impressive thing about SDR++, in my opinion, is this blerb from the creator.
I'm an 18 year old engineering student from Belgium. I started writing SDR++ as a learning project and update it on my free time.
Any donation is appreciated and will help me acquire new hardware and pay for the student life.

Also, should be a pretty easy install, but you may need Visual C++ redistritubales installed if you don't already have them, not sure which ones, but just check this thread where we already went over some of these things.
Firstly, can anyone confirm if a SDRplay RSP1A will run on SDR++ software. I have SDRuno running mine it on a Windows desktop. Would like to get it running portable but my old laptop struggles to run SDRuno. It will run a RTL-SDR ok on GQRX on linux. So, I'm thinking if I can get SDR++ to run...
