SDR with PDW error WAVE_FORMAT_PCM not supported

Just got a new laptop with windows 10. Using NESDR Smart dongle. Keep getting error message when trying to configure PDW interface setup. Using Soundcard and virtual audio cable I keep getting an error message. I am running Windows 10 on a Dell Laptop and there are no issues with my SDR that I know of. I've searched and couldn't find anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Have you verified operation of the SDR dongle using any other software such as SDRSharp, HDSDR, etc.?

Sorry. I should have specified. Yes. I've used sdr sharp with no issues. I am new to windows 10 so I'm not sure if it's a Windows 10 problem. I know PDW is a pretty old program.

I've also used planeplotter and unitrunker with the dongle so I know that works fine.

I use PDW with Win 10 and don't recall experiencing that error. My primary SDR is the SDRPlay RSP2, however, but I don't believe that should matter. I've attached a screenshot of my PDW interface setup that works for me.

I use this set up with a regular dongle and it works fine for me too
