So does anyone have any real, practical maximum DC power consumption numbers for the SDS-200 yet? Guessing 1.5amps or so at full volume?

What is the current rating on the wall wart its 13.8vdc?
I'm keenly interested in the exact values because I was planning to install the radio in my vehicle and let it run continuously.

No DC measurement data here but with a Kill-A-Watt meter (0.2% accuracy advertised) I observed 5 watts (10 Volt Amps) at the supplied wall wart, at ~120 VAC. This is at full volume, display full bright.

According to the display on my power supply (Yeasu 1030A), less than 1 amp. It barely moves off zero.
According to Finnesotan's numbers it draws about 360ma.

Its going to vary based on what type of systems are scanned the temp of the unit and how hard its processing.
