I am at a loss getting this to work. I have read lots and tried lots.
So far nothing has worked. Hoping some "experts" have some insight.

Windows 10
DSD+ v2.186
VB-Audio Virtual Cable v1.0.3.5 (input and output is 16 bit 44.1kHz)
Unitrunker 1.0.33.7
Radio RTL2832U
Network APCO P25

Unitrunker Voice VCO Scope shows output during transmission; Digital Output: CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)
Unitrunker Site window is logging signal events regularily
During transmission, Virtual Cable shows both input and output activity
DSD+ VC Source Audio window is always a flat line
DSD+ VC Channel Activity shows no entries ever
Nothing is ever written to file VC-DSDPlus.wav

DSD+ Startup Window:
D:\Users-Data\Jon\Documents\bin\dsd+>.\dsdplus.exe -i1M -o1M -rv -ds60 -dv30

DSD+ 2.186
Program role is voice channel decoder; audio modes set to mono
Scaling factor set to 60
Viewport size set to 30
Appending synthesized audio to file 'VC-DSDPlus.wav'
Current working directory is "D:\Users-Data\Jon\Documents\bin\dsd+"

audio input device #1 = 'CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual '

audio output device #1 = 'Speakers (Audioengine 2+ )'
audio output device #2 = 'CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual C'
audio output device #3 = 'Speakers (Realtek High Definiti'
audio output device #4 = 'Realtek Digital Output (Realtek'

audio input device #1 (CABLE Output (VB-Audio Virtual ) initialized
audio output device #1 (Speakers (Audioengine 2+ )) initialized

P25 data loaded; 0 networks, 0 sites, 0 channels
0 frequency records loaded
923 radio records loaded
458 group records loaded
0 site records loaded
0 network records loaded
Fusion decoding enabled
D-STAR decoding enabled
NXDN4800 decoding enabled
NXDN9600 decoding enabled

With your DSD+ Fast Lane, you can just run FMP24 and DSD+ - no Unitrunker or virtual audio cable. Just run the 1R.bat and FMP24-CC.bat files. In the FMP24 spectrum window, type in the control channel frequency and press Enter. Then press B until the channel bandwidth is at 12.5 or 9.5 kHz. That should be it.

If you want to keep using Unitrunker, it looks like UT isn't feeding any audio to VB Cable. Also, the 44.1 kHz rate seems off; I'd be using 48 kHz.

Hi, Thanks for the help. Turns out that the Virtual Cable was not working for some reason. Re-installed it several times to no avail. So I switch to a different virtual audio cable and that fixed the audio link between Unitrunker and DSD+ Fast Lane. However, it didn't help get it working.; still no audio. I tried the lastest version of dsdtune for invocation parameters and that didn't help either. There's data being processed but no sound. So I decided to give FMP24 a try per your suggestion. I think I got FMP24.cfg correct and there is lots of activity, yet still no sound. The RTL receiver has two VFOs; Unitrunker used one for control and one for voice. How does FMP24 handle this? I get a constant stream of data like below; don't know what it is trying to tell me though.

I tried typing in "b" in the spectrum windows for all bandwidths. It cycles though 22, 12.5, 9.5, 7.6, 4. However it makes no difference. does it have to be set in the FMP24-CC.bat file?

Hi, I scrolled the gain from min to max; no audio at all. Not sure if I got what you wanted; screen-grab attached.

It is decoding voice. I hope he didnt set DSD+ output to the virtual cable. That would be a no sound issue which isnt a real issues because it's doing what it's supposed to do but user shouldn't set output of DSD+ to virtual cables. Virtual cables are not required for DSD+ FL anyway. All TCP linked.

also he is using USB Speakers concurrrently with Realtek audio onboard sound. I would disconnect the usb speakers and use Realtek onboard sound.

To add to my previous post I saw some other thread in reference to using USB speakers from another user 2 years ago. Seems like DSD+ and some, not all, USB speakers and DSD+ won't talk. Please see this thread and follow the conversation. No DSDPlus Audio

I use a usb speaker on my desktop, it is set in win as default output, it works great with everything like UT, DSD+ FL and everything else.
