I'm loving my new SDS100. It's really solved my simulcast issue for Fairfax County, VA.

However, one problem I have with the scanner is that I can't see the battery percentage. Is there anyway that the battery percentage can ALWAYS be visible on the simple display?

Thanks!

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but while scanning hit Function then 9 and it will change the data display.

Have not looked into it, but you may also be able to customize the display using Sentinal to get the Battery Voltage added to the display.

Thanks. Is it just me, or does it seem like a mistake not to display the battery power by default on the main screen?

Thanks buddrousa. When I switch my display to advanced, I see "battery: 4.17v."

I don't know why Uniden did it like this. Would have made a LOT more sense to display it as a percentage.

Maybe they'll fix this in a future software update.

You can choose what info is displayed on your SDS100. There is a good video on YouTube just search "SDS100 display"

Also Loudoun County sounds great on that scanner
