Trying to register my new SDS100 on myuniden but it's not accepting the ESN or the checksum which appears to be in Hex format. I have input the regular SN from the sticker in the battery area with no issue's. But it's not liking the ESN or Checksum. Any idea's?

What did a search of this forum reveal using “SDS100 ESN” as the search criteria ? Others have this issue quite frequently.

When you get to the part of the registration process, where the ESN is needed (this is the part of registration that
allows you to purchase any upgrades that you want), remember that the first (I believe it's 4) characters are already entered. Then that's the point that you enter the rest of your characters & the checksum.
Correction- I believe that it's the first 5 (not 4) that are already entered, so you then enter the last nine.
