SDS200 Datbase Scan Delay

Learning this scanner — and, yes, reading the manual. For the moment it is scanning the full database for my area "as is." No Favorites List. As it does there is no delay when it receives an agency's signal. It instantly resumes. Question: Must one create Lists first for the scanner to be set to a fairly common 2- or 3-second delay, or can it be set to delay without Lists? In the latter scenario, I've only found a delay for Search and Close Call, not a scan of the full database. Just curious. Still learning. Thanks.

Delay for database scanning is hardcoded at 2 seconds. I'd prefer 5, but the only way to change it is to make a Favorite List. My preference would be to make it a global setting like Filter in the SDS models, but Uniden didn't do that.

ARC536 provides an ability to edit the full db

Since I use FL's and not the full db; I can't say if it's useful or not..
