I have my sds200 directly connected to my computer with a network cable. I'm trying to get proscan to work. Anybody know how to get it working through windows? I feel like it's something simple like giving my network card an IP address somehow.

hook up the cable from your router to the scanner instead of the computer

If you connect directly to the PC, you need to go into the network card properties and set the IP address to be in the same domain as the scanner. For example, set the PC to 192.168.1.255 and the scanner to 192.168.1.1.

Address xxx.xxx.xxx.255 is never an option to set. The addresses available are from xxx.xxx.xxx.1 through xxx.xxx.xxx.254. It also is not a good idea to have the address used as 192.168.1.1 since many routers use this as a default factory address.

YMMV

I am connected Directly with 192.168.0.1 with a cable directly into my laptop, any other IP didn't seem to work
