Hey all, I think I'm looking for pretty much the opposite of everyone else:
When I have a channel sending fire tones I'd like to either silence the tones or seriously attenuate the volume output. The tones are significantly louder than any of the voice traffic and it's kinda like watching an action movie at night with the volume button in hand furiously going up and down.

You could always use toneout mode with no alert tone and set to search so it opens up for every tone out. You could also set a long delay of 2 minutes or something so you don’t miss too much voice traffic.

I saw the option for toneout mode. I figured that was to alert me to specific units being toned by audio and visual cues. So I think I'm hearing that if I don't select an alert tone or flash it'll silence the 2-tones being sent by dispatch and just play again when the tones have stopped?
Is that somewhere near correct?
I'm not sure I follow the delay part of your suggestion though.

Don‘t program any tone out tones either so that it works for any unit. The delay is for how long it will keep monitoring after the last transmission, otherwise if it’s short you’ll only hear the dispatch call and none of the response traffic.
