The incident has been going on for about 3.5 hours now, but no local media coverage since it is Sunday.

If it is an ammonia leak or something like that, with no injuries (thus only one rescue), no wonder the lack of media interest.

Lots of refrigerated and freezer units for meats, ice cream, frozen foods. etc. I'm not certain about ammonia/refrigerant leaks caused by fire damage or just a lot of coolant leakage from a physical failure.

If one is a customer at Fry's, one may have an inconvenient time shopping until supplies are restocked.

Back in the 1960s through the 1980s, all the local TV stations of note and KTAR/KFYI radio stations kept news stringers on during the overnights and weekends for crimes, fires, incidents, etc.

Now, if it doesn't make CNN or the Arizona Capitol Times, few media outlets care.
