Dah-O / That's an Escort vehicle.

JK

PS / They also use Nexhell & cellphones quite often.
As I've said many times: If they don't want you to hear
them, you wont!

Due to the nature of their business they keep a low profile and are hard to spot. I was fortunate enough to spot one in a Walmart parking lot and snapped a picture.

The agent that lives next to me has a curly-Q cellular look-a-like mounted to the trunk lip on his vehicle.

USSS antennas

The documentary about Air Force 1 recently on National Geographic had a few good views of their vehicles. The earlier reply about the Larsen model is what I scene on there. A few of those follow-up vehicles also showed the flat, pancake style antenna. Its about 3/4 inch high and 6 inches diameter. I think Antenex makes those as well.

I didnt see the Pringles can, maybe its on one of those Border Patrol shows.

Mostly VHF quarterwave antennas. While most are chrome and NMO trunk lip or mag mount, some have a spring at the bottom and others have the black cell phone style antenna. With a few exceptions, they are never drilled NMO's, but typically trunk lip and mag mounts.

I've met the owner of this car

This belongs to a ham named Tom. I met him at a hamfest in Springfield Mo. After him and some other hams and myself grabbed dinner at LoneStar Steakhose. Hes a nice person if you ask me.

Maybe so, but all his antenna's kind of reminds of a "Cat lady" and how could one have enough radio's to hook them into? lol
