• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

this might a completely stupid question and i might be over looking this or missed a previous thread but here it goes ....

How do you get a feed that says"alpha tags available in this broadcast" to appear in any or all of the player type selection?? Am can see the alpha tags on the app i use on my phone but when i try to see them on a feed when listening on a computer ... they don't show up. Is there a specific player type i should use to be able to see the alpha tags?

thanks in advance.

ScannerLive also displays the IDs.

ScannerLive takes online scanner radio feeds and turns your computer into a scanner of your own.

- Select multiple online feeds to monitor (up to 10) per window
- Save your layout in up to ten banks
- Scan all feeds, and if audio is heard on one it will mute the others
- Selectable Delay & Priority settings
- Ability to change the volume settings individually
- Audio meter active on all feeds (even when they are muted!)
- Temporarily lock out a feed
- Manually hold a feed until pressing scan again
