What is it you want to do here?
If only listening to the voice traffic is what interests you, then DSD+ will suffice in most cases.
DSD+ comes in two versions:
- Free: Public version (the one you are using)
- Paid: Fastlane. (see end of DSDPlus.txt file in public version archive for info on how to purchase it)
The public version is very old and contains many differences (features and bugs) to the Fastlane version.
dmrdecode does not decode audio and contains bugs and has not been maintained in years.
To run it (the .jar file), you need the JAVA runtime libraries installed.
If you are using a RTL dongle, then use DSD+ with FMP. (included with DSD+) This the way to go.
- Using SDR#, HDSDR or other pragrams can interfere with decoding if DSP is not disabled in them.
- FMP is the receiver part of DSD+ (which DSD+ is the decoder).
- FMP and DSD+ are design to work together.
