BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Sentinal software and Windows XP

I am looking for a used laptop which will only be used with Sentinal software and Uniden BCD436HP scanner. I am wondering if a ten year old laptop with Windows XP would work ok. I can't seem to find info on the minimum requirements to run this software. Thanks

Sentinel runs fine on XP. Just make sure you have enough memory (RAM) in case you want to perform database updates on it, as it requires around 700 MB just for the update. Normal operation requires only about 76 MB.
