I just wanted to make sure...

When you connect the 436 in mass storage mode to upload your favorites list, there are two options. Erase favorites list on scanner and Force Write Full Database.
Is the Force Write Full Database the way to push the newly updated full DB from Sentinel?
I would assume so, but the word Force has me wondering.

I searched the manual, but I could not find it. I might have missed it.

I believe Force Write Full Database is the way. I did it for the first time today and I don't think it messed anything up. I didn't really see any other way to do it anyway. And I didn't want to erase my favorites lists.

I'm about to do the same thing for the first time with my 436. I set the software so it loads both the full data base and my one favorites list, which I assigned to quick key #9.

If it works as I suspect it will, the scanner will first scan the full data list as normal, then scan favorites list #9.

What would I do when it is scanning and I wish to just listen to my favorites list on #9, not the full data base as well?

Thanks.
