Sentinel: Sentinel/Uniden server connectivity

Anyone having issues connecting to the Uniden server when trying to update the master database via Sentinel?

Tried it now, seeing the same. All the more reason I use Proscan over Sentinel for programming updates...

I updated the database Monday, with no issues, but trying just now (to verify access) and getting error message that the server is trying to access the wrong address ('address is different than the one where the ftp connection was made').

Just saw this now. I have been racking my brain trying to figure this out. Guess it's not on my end. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.
In the mean time I copied my last good update 4/06/2025 database onto all my computers.

Yes, same for me here at, 8:45 PM Mountains Standard Time in the mid West. I am not able to download & update to the latest Master Database (HPDP) or even preform a Firmware Update for my SDS200. I thought that it was a corrupted Registry Problem with Sentinel on my Computer so I ran a Sentinel Repair using the Sentinel Setup Wizard. All without any change or success. I then came here to the RR Forums to discover that this is not just a Sentinel Issue on my end or on my Computer but a widespread issue going on right now.

These hiccups have happened before and get fixed.

I wish I had saved the packet capture I made years ago while observing the dialog between Sentinel and the Uniden FTP server. I could have compared it to this one.

Good to know it wasn't just me, as I saw that error when trying to update staying in hotel last night for work.

I kind of new to the BCD436HP having just picked up one used last month to use in work truck.

Uniden has been notified and I suspect will be fixing it soon.
