I use a VPN to keep that from happening. If you were having the same problem you wouldn't be able to install Sentinel, but since you said your scanner connects I'm guessing the software opens/runs. Maybe your ISP is blocking the FTP download?
I have had the same ISP, since 2019.Not sure but your ISP is still involved VPN or not.
Do you get an error message or does the program just sit there? Just for fun and giggles, have you tried without your vpn?I was reading this Sentinel thread, and. Realized, am having the same problem.
I have .NET 3.5 enabled, but. Other than initially seeing my scanner, prior to the update. It won't do an update on the F/W n' HPDB.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA
Spectrum, but. They are owned by Charter Communications, so. The server is Charter's.The VPN to the test site is not blocked your ISP to VPN is blocked GOOGLE AI does not know everything. I deal with this all the time in the Security Business and IT Networking Business.
Who is your ISP?
Neither site I mentioned, can see me.If CAN YOU SEE ME could see you so could who you are hiding from.
I have had the same ISP, since 2019.
As for, the VPN software. I have had that since 2024.
I did a Google search on online tools, to test ports. It came with Can You See Me and Port Check Tool
And forgetting that he's gone through this before, and the solution is so simple. It's deja vu all over again...and again...and again. Maybe you should write down the instructions that you've received on more than one occasion so that you can refer to them next time this happens. I don't think anyone on RR has had more trouble with Sentinel and ProScan over the years than you, truly remarkable!
I actually do that but with windows 11, got this cheap HP stream now and use it for just my programs for my scanners and pro96com if I need it. I don't even connect it to the internet besides to get the programs or download fw or database updates, then I turn the wifi back off.go find a cheap win10 computer and do not use it for anything else.
just use it for this and then turn it off.
