I have created an account with RR and filled out an application to provide a live feed. I downloaded the scanner cast software to my desktop and connected my scanner to the desktop via the mic input jack. When I try to log into the scanner cast software using my RR user name and password and click the login button I recieve the following message in an error box.

K1PGV's ScannerCast RR Edition Vo.13 (1224)
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignor this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately

Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? All help in setting this up would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Marcus Smith

I have been approved and can now go live with my feed. However there is a hum in the back ground. Any suggestions.

Yeah as others have said a ground loop isolator because basically there is a ground between your scanner and the computer. I am going to invest in one soon for my feed.
