Normally when you request the letter from the department that allows you to operate on their channels they include all that information.
Or they want you to go to their radio service because they want everything programmed the same and correctly.
Im sure you will get them when you contact the department for permission to program TX on their channels.

@izzyj4
Was in Georgia. Check out the date of the post. But my fault for not updating the location.

Since we don't have car numbers there I really don't have a call sign to operate on the radio to call someone else unless I ride a truck or engine to a call. Then I would be able to use a truck or engine portable number to call over the air.
We are issued motorola minitor pagers that are not the best quality for what I am looking for.
Essentially what I am looking to do is use a kenwood tk-260 as my "pager"
Many times on the fire ground, we are doing things that we have to listen to our pager because of not having a portable to communicate.

Since I am no pro on radio programming and asking for what my buddy told me to, what am I asking for that is a problem? Or, what numbers are needed to make it like my pager?

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Most people would not look here for the TX frequencies as that’s a big red flag that someone wants to TX on a system, and if they are aloud to TX on the system they would not come here to find them.
If you want it to be a pager you need Seymour’s plectron tones.
Try visiting Mike Gardella at Communications Services in Seymour and if you’re a firefighter there he will be able to do everything you want and he has all the information to do it

Jay, do the right thing and go talk to the chiefs or at least the captain of the fire company or SAA you belong to. You need to get permission to utilize a radio that is not issued to you and you purchased yourself. I used to be a member of SAA and I'm a social member of one of the firehouses in the town (I live in a neighboring town). I understand how they operate and I am friends with a great number of the firefighters and EMTs in the town.

This is not the place to be asking for frequencies to program a radio per-say. They are licensed through the FCC and have a certain allotted number of radios it can operate under those frequencies. Don't do something that could be illegal or without permission.
