So I made three audio file recordings on my Mac (OS 10.14.4) using Quick Time. I saved these files on the Mac, used VLC to convert them to mp3, saved them but, when I try to post these files on a thread, they're greyed out, either one of them, can't share them. It is as if, Mac won't let me share them.

Does anyone know how to overcome this?

The forum more than likely doesn't allow that type of file to be uploaded. Especially when you click attach and see the files you can attach. See pic.

You can do a couple things to remedy this.

A) Zip the audio files into a Zip and upload here. Not sure on the upload size limit. If that is exceeded you can upload one MP3 Ziped file at a time.

B) You can host the audio files at a cloud provider like Dropbox, Mega, Box, Google Cloud, Microsoft cloud (what ever they call it) or even go Amazon S3.

C) You can upload the files to Clyp. Clyp - the easiest way to record, upload and share audio.

D) You can upload the files to Soundcloud. SoundCloud – Listen to free music and podcasts on SoundCloud

Thanks.
After posting the thread, as it always seems to happen, I found the answer.
I have to use a cloud service to host the file, used dropbox.
