Is there a reason you're not finding this in other posts in this forum and/or the database? There's a clear section on Alberta Sheriffs in the database and it's been discussed here in the forum quite a few times.
The sheriffs use their MiKE iDEN phones most of the time. MiKE/iDEN aka "Nextel" in the US is a digital standard that cannot be monitored by a scanner.
Many sheriffs in the traffic patrol have access to the RCMP PACS conventional VHF repeaters, for talking to the RCMP when necessary.
The MiKE iDEN talkgroups in use in and around the Calgary area are also simulcast on the Calgary Digital Radio trunk system, in the 52000-series IDs.
Fish and game officers - more likely Fish and Wildlife - are on the Alberta Firenet in most places, but may be on MDMRS in a few places where Firenet doesn't cover. If they're not found on Firenet or MDMRS, they'll be on MiKE iDEN phones.
All of this information is available in the database, available by clicking on the word "Database" near the top center of your screen when you scroll back up to the top of this thread.
