Medics sent to 10841 e US 36 for gun shot scene not secured, no dispatch that I heard on law but Avon likes to use MDTs only to keep things quiet.
Am hearing sheriff units asked to cover runs since they are busy.

During the communications advisory board meeting 911 director Renee Tomlinson talked about our broadcastify delay, she was not specific but the board gave her permission to make changes. I will ask her tomorrow during her county council budget presentation for more details.
I don't know if she is looking to increase the delay on law dispatch or maybe add it to fire.

I talked with Renee after the budget hearing, she said they are looking at delaying just the feed from broadcastify or encrypting fire dispatch.
This is coming from the Hendricks county fire chiefs and is the result of news media getting info from scanning after the courthouse shooting in May.
