signal strength w/ tinted glass

On my last SUV, I used a thru the glass mobile antenna. New car windows has dark Tinted windows. Will the Tint effect the incoming signal ?

Hate to answer this way but the answer is (seriously) maybe yes, maybe no. Normal tint won't affect the signal at all, but if your glass is tinted with a metalic tint there could be some issues. You'll just have to see what kind of tinting they used on your specific vehicle. You can't tell from how dark the tint is, what color it is, or even if it "looks metalic" or not.
