Hello,

Have a HP-1.

I have created a FAV list with Butel, and have, apparently, download it just
fine to the unit (HP-1). No "Avoids" on the list I created.

I then go to Manage Favorites List, and select the list I just downloaded.

This is what then comes up, after I press Listen:

Warning !
All channels that are in range have been avoided
Change the Service type selections, your location or the range setting, or review and remove some
avoids

Pressing the Review Avoids button shows: "Nothing Avoided"

Range button shows "30 miles", the max.

The List contains my local P.D. and F.D. (2 miles away)
And a bunch of frequencies from a local airport (6 miles away).
I have entered my zip code.

I don't understand why all these (error) msg's) appear ? Thoughts on ?

What can I do to simply scan this FAV list I made, continuously, and then stop on whatever
may be transmitting at some time ?

I don't want to scan by any Service Types, OR Range, or....

Just want to scan the whole FAV list I created and downloaded, over and over,
as I was simply able to do on my old GRE PSR 500.
And, have it stop when it finds something/anything on the list.

What am I doing wrong, or missing ?
Hate to appear dumber than I am with this, but if anyone
could guide me thru this would be most appreciative (and happy).

BTW: If anyone could help me out also on my previous Post re "How To Delete A FAV List, would be great also.

Thanks for the previous help,
Bob

Check what services types or in the list - then make sure they are turned on.

Also make sure it is not set to location On for the list or if it is that you have the correct location set in the HP.

As to turn of a FL - you don't really tunn off as much as do not select it.

Menu - manage favorite lists - select DB to monitor - then select a new one and/or unselect unwanted.
