TRX-1: Simple Squelch showing question

Did I imagine this or did when I very first turned on my new TRX-1, when adjusting the squelch, did I actually see the numerical value of the squelch in the lower RH corner of the display? True? In settings somewhere? Sorry if that was a dumb question. HaHa

I think the squelch is displayed (briefly) on the base/mobile models but not on the handhelds. On the handhelds, you can see the setting based on the position of the knob on the top. However, the only way to see the squelch setting on the base/mobile units is via the display (and copying the configuration into EZ Scan).
