I just happened to pop open the Siren app on my iPhone…and just wondering if maybe, just maybe, there’s a chance of saving the app, The concept behind it is great, and honestly I can see it working quite well in a vehicle as a remote head. Any ideas? Maybe Joe Bearcat is on the air?

Last update was about 9 years ago... I would presume it's been entirely abandoned. Considering the time and responses to existing hardware bugs, I don't quite see them throwing money to any app developers and maintaining it.

This remote head might be more worthwhile to throw interest behind though, depending on price point:

Yeah I saw that on the App Store. At the time it was a great concept. I am going to keep an eye on the Scanner Master remote..hopefully will be compatible with the SDS 100. My mini USB is already loose from being connected to the GPS in the car so maybe a remote head can help me put the radio in another spot

Long time ago I spoke with Upman about where they stood with finishing out the Siren App, about the time the SDS line was about to hit. It was his thinking that with the SDS connectivity and apps like ProScan, that would be the option for "power users" versus the Siren App.

They had so many issues with getting the dongle firmware sort of working, I think they just gave up.
