So I've noticed that the siren app works on my phone as it should but when I turn Bluetooth on, and connect it to a blue tooth speaker, it won't play there, only my phone....but everything else uses the Bluetooth speaker.

Is this an issue with siren?

It's not a finished product yet. A big update of some sort is targeted for the end of this month, although it might take longer. And we don't know what will be in this update yet, but it was said to be a super duper humongous fantastic "new" feature. Anything that big might need a lot of software revision, so we may see other previously planned features come to full fruition when that happens...so we hope. But we have no way to know until it actually happens, or if UPMan decides to spill the beans ahead of time.

It's my personal belief that the reason they have not put full effort into what they have done so far is because of this "humongous new feature" that was planned from the start, but (being new) had to be developed from the ground up. Otherwise, I can't understand the weak, almost half-@$$3d, approach they have taken so far. Time will tell, but I hope for the best.

Is there a link to the topic about the "update" coming? I can't image how long it's taking really to get stuff done.

And I would like to know what it is I do in the SIREN app which causes the 536HP to display it has nothing to scan? The only way I found to fix it is to redo the monitor list on the 536 itself. Today I did something on the APP which caused the scanner to think I had pushed the 3 button. Of course I didn't know what was going on until I physically looked at the 536! Hard to do if it is mounted under a seat. Especially while driving...

Could you have hit the right side of the screen and inadvertently set the AVOID for that system?

It wasn't avoid. The scanner looked like I had pressed the 3 FL to turn it off or on. I think it was a squelch adjustment. And when it says..NOTHING To SCAN I have no idea how that happens. I have to reset lists to monitor and let the scanner reboot can't do it from the APP.

BTW: Both these conditions caused the APP to stop working at least it wasn't displaying anything. That's why I had to physically look at the scanner to see what was going on.

The first version of the app worked fine and second version would not work at all on Bluetooth.
I had to revert back to the old version through iTunes since I had saved the ipa file for siren.

Could the problem the iOS revision? I notice since iOS 8.0 to now I don't hear any notifications from my iPhone on my vehicle's Bluetooth? Also I want to think I remember that Google Maps would provide voice navigation instructions over the Bluetooth also. Since iOS 8.0 Google Maps navigation instructions haven't worked with my iPhone 6 and 6S. Just a thought.
