Site 003 TG 00096?

While running Unitrunker I get this TG that shows up and today decided to record it. It is the weather service. I have had 9 hits on this TG...has anyone noticed this at all?

Weather Service? what type of stuff have you heard?

Its the automated weather service that you can pick up on the scanner. You know how you have the weather scan option for the scanner...here in West Jordan the NOAA weather station is 162.550. On this TG its the same automated weather station...really weird.

My trunker shows 65 hits on this TG over the past couple of months. I wonder if someone can "turn it on or off" to get latest weather info? Another RF tie-in for UCAN.

From what I have recorded it sounds like someone can turn it on off as you have mentioned gldavis. I can hear in the background the sound of a dispatcher or something on another radio.

I have also heard this TG in Summit Co on Hwy 40 just past Silver Creek Junction as well
