I used to pick them up here in Toms River on most of their repeater channels. I moved to a different part of town and haven't heard them since. Not sure if something changed on their end, or it is part of my poorer reception at my new house.

Anyone know the current frequencies being used by Six Flags Great Adventure? I programmed my Uniden BCD436HP using the RR database and it seems to match what I see at Attractions Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference however while in the parking lot it doesn't pick up anything.

They should still be using their analog frequencies. It is a slim possibility that they could have migrated those frequencies to DMR or NEXEDGE, but it's still doubtful. Unfortunately I live in the northern portion of the state so I cannot confirm any of this at the time.

They are still on the same channels. , 5 is operations managers and 7 is FD/EMS. Those are the channels that would see the most action. Most of the rides use talkaround radios so they dont step on each other. The mechanics and bosses mainly use PTT phones

Channel 1/Safari is only used by the staff is something is going south and they need to comm with the main park. Youll hear Lion1 come up on that channel and talk to Dispatch. Otherwise they use phones.

Channel 2 is basically a dead channel. it was rarely used

Channel 4/security, should be a very active channel

Channel 5/Operations is for ride leads to call their regional managers but it is mainly to talk between the ride operators in the morning during track checks and test rides, otherwise its pretty quiet during the day

Channel 7/FD&EMS is mainly EMS dispatch by security, EMTs use PTT to talk among themselves.

Channel 10 is a backup channel, maintenance and mechanics use PTT phones

Harbor channel is terribly weak with poor reception in its own lot. Used mainly by EMS to talk to each other

The final 3 are also basically dead. The retail channel is sometimes used during fright fest or ride construction. the other two are just extra talk arounds.

I dispatched at SFGA for 3 years. They use mainly CP300s and Kenwood TKs. If you want to listen, 4/5/7 are the ones that have traffic
