Hi all just downloaded an App.... Police Scanner.. and my question to you is what city in America would make the best listening?

Online Listening

It all depends on what you would like to monitor .....Fire or Police ....

Of course theres an All Boro FDNY feed for Fire .....always active
Baltimore Maryland is very active Police and Fire both .....Lots of Action
Washington DC is very active at times
Fairfax,VA is a good quality feed for Fire/EMS
Buffalo NY gets alot of fires .....
Detroit Fire always very busy ....
Chicago area - lots of activity

Pick a Major City - you will have lots of Action ...Enjoy

To answer your question: What city in America makes the best listening?
That depends on what you prefer to hear. Murder?....Detroit Rapes/killing?....LA
Robberies?.....Houston Auto accidents?.....San Antonio, Houston, etc.etc.

i will not use the smartphone police scanner app to listen to canwarn i will use a radio scanner for that as of the long weekend.

The two top favorites in my app are New Orleans Police Dept. You know, NOPD the French Quarter... And the other is Houston Police Department. Both very active, usually with a lot of crazy stuff being said on NOPD's channels.
