Solano SO Patch?

In the Solano County Regional Communications System, under Solano County, there is a talk group with alpha tag "Solano SO Patch" It has what is clearly Solano SO radio traffic, but the traffic is mutually exclusive from the regular SO traffic in the Solano SO 1 talk group. Does anybody know what entities this patch is connecting between? And why?

I suspect Dixon PD has their own set of talk groups and that's actually what that patch channel is (DIX PATROL 1).

mcjones2013, I do believe you are correct about it being Dixon, based on my all-day hold listen to this talk group. It's definitely Dixon traffic based on the locations they were discussing for traffic stops, etc. I can't find any talk group information relating to any of this, but there they are, and you nailed it. I scan the vhf main SO channel and listen to the regional P25 System on a separate radio and they mirror each other.

Hey Dennis, I was comparing the SO dispatch talk group to the patch talk group, both on the P25 system. I didn't know the that the long loved vhf dispatch beacon was still there. I would much rather go back to listening on vhf, so thanks for this info.
