Sold scanner, de-register on Uniden site?

Paul, I have sold a BCD996T scanner. What do I do on the My Uniden web site so that he can register as the owner and get firmware updates?

I didn't want to delete it outright in case that was the wrong move, because then it would be too late, Murphy's Law being what it is.

You don't need to do anything. System allows for duplicate registrations.
