You could always do it the hard way. Start recording your scanner and extract the tones and put them into a format that you can use.

I don't know if I completly understand what you want, here is one from last night. I just used Sound recorder to cut out the tones from my raw recording of my scanner. I also have about 10 fire tones from my county if you are interested.

He wants to get the differnt tones in wav, or mp3 format.. convert them to ringtones for his cellular phone.... Then when you call him, itll ring sounding like CHiPs.

Although if he really is good at it, hell add his own voice page behind the tones: BEEP BEEP BEEP "Attention, (insert name here), you have an incoming priority call! Please respond!"

:)

At my computer, duh!
I always thought it'd be really cool to have deer calls for ring tones, except most people would just think you farted. Maybe a coyote howl or some crows would work better. The old Emergency tones are floating around the net btw. They sound a lot different from the (I hate to call it modern) Quick Call II format in use today.

The other cool ring tone I've thought of - is the chirp of the newer PASS devices. bee dee WHUUP bee deee WHUUP HONK HONK HONK.

Usually, the solid alert tone is 1000hz. You can recreate that very easily on your own.

Here you go. I put these select tones up on my site after seeing this post.

I have a vast variety of tones from here in Monroe County NY.

You might be better off posting this in the GA Forums...also check the Wiki there as they may already have them.
