I know SLP and Edina are going to continue to use their own talkgroups for dispatching, but what TG is GV Police going to end up on for their dispatching since they are now with Edina Police for their PSAP? I don't get great reception on H East at home, so i cant really verify who is where...

Last I had heard the switch was taking place Jan 01,2011.

I was talking to some of the slp firefighters the other day and they made it sound like they already had jobs lined up for the dispatchers who are getting cut, but I suppose that would make sense to have it lined up 3 months ahead of time...

I confirmed this AM Golden Valley cars are still on the St. Louis Park Main. It will be interesting to see if they are on a shared channel with Edina or a Separate> I am also wondering if they will switch to 3 digit calls like Edina.
I believe Edina is using Badge numbers for Call signs.

Who else uses badge Numbers (in the Metro)? I know Edina and Eden Prairie do, but am still confused by MAC, Metro Transit and Bloomington... and do any of them have their radio ID's in a similarly organized manner like Eden Prairie does?

They are still using 154.2500. Caught me off guard when I first heard GV chief calling 300 and 154.2500then I kistened closer the voice of 300 as Edina dispatch.
