Happy Monday...
Has anyone figured out how to run ProScan as a Windows Service? Example, Windows PC reboots after patching, at the Windows logon prompt, and ProScan is already running, with no Windows logon required.

Start > Run (or windows key + R)
Type shell:startup in text box, click OK
Drag Proscan shortcut icon into 'C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup' window
Proscan should now start up with Windows

There may be a way to run it as a system service under a limited user account but you'd have to dig into setting that up manually. I use a dedicated laptop in a DMZ with a regular dedicated low priv user account. Get it all running with that first then look at Sysinternals tools, specifically Autologon - Sysinternals to set that account to logon after a reboot or poweron. Then just follow Whiskey3JMC's instructions to launch Proscan on startup. My only issue is I'm using a SDS100 connected via USB serial so the serial connection doesn't always reconnect. The audio stream should work fine though.
