I was driving through CT today and couldn't hear troop D's data channel on 852.200 when the scanner was in trunking mode on my BCD-325P2 it kept switching to 852.2125 for a data channel (this doesn't exist). I did a manual search for 852.200 and heard data channel noise and nothing on 852.2125.

I had all of the troop d frequencies trunked frequencies in and Troop E and F which I also had programmed in worked fine. I did not listen to any other troops.

Long story short this is a rebanding issue that these new Uniden scanners are supposed to be immune to.

I was able to fix this problem by doing the following:

If your listening to troop D on a Uniden scanner I would make sure your actually hearing troop D. For some reason you will have to enter the custom rebanding tables mentioned in the above thread for troop D.

The data channel has broad coverage well into Massachusetts.

Are you sure you were not switching over to the Mass SP P25, who have 852.2125 for North Site Details (Commonwealth Of Massachusetts)

No because I only entered 852.200 and then the scanner said it was 852.2125. I was in Putnam, CT at the time

My Troop D frequency plan is
852.2000
852.5875
851.2875
851.7125
853.2000
853.7500

852.2000 is most certainly the control channel. Works in the 396xt, 996xt, XTS3000 and XTS2500. That is odd for the scanner to adjust it elsewhere. It probably is the bleed over from MSP's system.

I made a new Motorola system with 852.200 and when it would find the control channel it would show up at 852.2125. This was in Putnam, CT. Which doesn't make sense because I entered 852.200. Video to demonstrate. I put 852.200 in a P25 system just so I could demonstrate easily that the signal was full quieting without having to push a bunch of buttons.

Putting in the new rebanding table solved it. But I am agreeing with the above assessment somehow the scanner was pulling in RI RISCON and getting confused.

What I still don't get is how I entered 852.200 and the scanner interpreted it as 852.2125.

It's a long shot, but check to make sure that the band default is set to 12.5Khz. It sounds as if for some reason, the scanner is changing what you enter to a default frequency step other than 12.5Khz.

As I said, it's a long shot.

I'll be in CT this weekend and if I have a chance I'll try to see what my 536 is doing on 852.200.
