STLFD response frequency 154.010

For several months I have noticed constant static on frequency 154.010 while using my cheapy scanners. This constant static wasn't always present. If one is close enough to a transmission one hears a break in the constant static as the transmission in being transmitted.

I have always noticed this kind of static on their remote links frequencies so I wonder if anyone can help explain this constant static on frequency 154.010.

Update: After the origional 2:27 pm post I went out to my car and tuned into 154.010 and no constant static. I drove into the city and I could hear the transmissions fine.

possibly it is a "new" user or current user on an adjacent frequency that is now interferring..

adjacent narrowband: 154.0175 and 154.0825
adjacent: 154.025 or 154.025

try those when you are getting the interference and see if there is traffic on those

Thanks for the tip. I've had no problems listening to frequency 154.010 the last couple of days but if I do I will be sure to try those other frequencies.
