Sorry, I was not very clear. The was for our Radio Reference account yearly subscription. I remember in the past they sent license keys that I can see. We also purchased a new scanner and that would be listed in the product type next to the information about the keys. It currently has our old scanner model. Are you asking about a particular scanning programming software?
Ok. I think I see some of my issue. You are correct as the first scanner was a Radio Shack and that was the software we used. The scanner we have now is a Whistler. I believe I am confusing the Radio Reference account with Radio Shack software. Do I need software from Whistler to download from my Radio Reference account? Sorry for the confusion. Thank you.Could be the RR Radio Shack software download?
(That software key would show up on the user’s RR account page)
“If you like the demo software and free database downloads you may purchase the full version of the software for your scanner and a subscription to the database through this web site”

Whistler 1040What type of scanner is it WS1040, TRX1, etc.
I see Scanner Master has Whistler ARC500 software for the WS1040. Does this work the same as the Radio Shack software did for the radio shack scanner?Whistler does not provide programming software for the WS1040, however there are a few third party programs available. Here are two programs, I use the Win500 myself, but maybe someone else can compare others or suggest some more options.
