Does anybody have the input/output frequencies and PL codes for the Port Jefferson and Mount Sinai Medcom Crossband repeaters? There's no mention on the database, and some of the other sites (Fordyce, w2lie.net) list old freqencies or DPW frequencies. Thanks!

You sure the the South Country simulcasts are still live? I only hear 453.025 all the time, I haven't heard the other 2 in some time...

The South Country xband on 155.325 (old hospital channel) has been off the air for at least 3 years. Their other xband on 155.175 is up and running but ay much lower power than the powerful 154.415 xband.

I haven't heard the 453.025 DCS031 repeater in a while... Did they get shut down? I really liked that Crossband repeater.

Yes South Countries as well as some other crossband repeaters are working again. Not sure if it was a VHF countywide problem or just a problem with the crossband repeaters. Because coincidentally, Medford EMS's crossband was down as well.

Hmm. Odd. A friend of mine said the VHF Countywide was working fine. It was just the crossbands. Must've been a coincidence.

Crossband from South Country seems to be down again...for that matter South Country seems to be spewing garbage on their primary ... either that or digital.

SCA's crossband and primary repeater seems to be ok as of 8:52PM EST.

Looks like SCA's having some serious radio troubles...

The UHF/VHF cross-band system has been down more than up because some unauthorized personnel are using it. The FCC has been called in with their doppler scan equipment.

Now that it's up again, it sounds like their system is much more readable here in the third division. Reception is up alot better. I was driving in the car today with the portable and I could hear the repeater clearer then ever, almost as if I have a roof antenna on the portable. However, as I approached the North Shore, it deteriorated quite a bit. But for the most part, it sounds like it's been improved a bit!

SCA has quite a powerful setup ... they got the antenna for their repeater/base up in a good location and are putting out close to 60 watts or so. Usually I'll hear their Medcomm crossband from as far out as riverhead, to as far west as oh about ronkonkoma (or around that area). I wouldn't be surprised if it propagated further though...

Yeah, their setup is pretty decent. And now, it seems to sound alot better. Before they went down for a while, their setup was pretty much good for only mobile/base setups. However, now I can hear their repeater at these same locations with my portable. They've definately been working on something...and it's seemed to pay off.
