I wanted to point out to the newer members/listeners, that in Monmouth and Ocean counties a great way to know of all major trauma/mva/fire/etc is to monitor MONOC. I cant tell you how many times I am made aware of major events through their dispatch. After hearing their dispatch, if I don't actively monitor a certain location, it is quite easy to punch it in or unlock it.

Monoc Dispatch 462.9500 210.7PL (MED-9)

Also listed in the database is several simulcasts and additional channels.

I hope this helps streamline your monitoring.

Also if you do not have access to a scanner or if you are looking to monitor MONOC from your computer etc. My feed listed here on RR covers MONOC, its Medevac operations and the NJSP Medevac operations as well. It also covers those Fire and EMS services dispatched by the Monmouth County Communications Center and Howell twp's services. I am posting the link to my feed here, it is also accessible by clicking on my Audio Feed Provider badge here on this post or by searching the RR Live Audio database
