Suggestions on Icom- where to start

I currently have programable scanners and looking to add a quality professional base receiver and antenna set up that I can add to my home shack.

Would like to have the capabilty to scan P25 system (digital)-EDACS- VHF and UHF.

Any help and suggestions would be appreciated.

Most of the users here have Uniden, Radio Shack, and GRE radios to use on trunked systems. I think Icom can be used but with PC software running the scanner maybe?

The pcr-2500 only receives conventional P-25. It does not trunktrack. The only base scanners made that TT are Uniden and GRE(some RS models are made by GRE and Uniden Japan).
