I dug an old busted antenna out of the scrap pile to see what it looked like inside. It's a Super Stationmaster, but the label is too beat up to glean any more information from.
It WAS a one piece antenna in the 17-19' range with a single support near the center. It had folded over and broke in two places. After cutting it at the bends and just above the and chucking the old fiberglass I was left with an aluminum base with a large copper pipe exiting from the top and 7 smaller copper pipes around 29.5"(I only measured one and assume they are all the same). They are wired together in what I think is called a phase reversal pattern where every other section is in continuity. More pics to follow. I'm assuming there is something interesting in the base as well.
