I know very little if anything at all about the existing OPLAN directive but after reading declassified material and videos stating the average time a Russian silo or gantry launched Satan/Sarmat ICBM detonates on CONUS is approximately 30 minutes. A Russian sea launched SLBM off of our East and or West coast in depressed trajectory with a 5 minute time from launch to detonation leaves NORAD detection, reporting and tracking to the retaliatory response of our nuclear assets.

There a few sites that monitor and report EAM transmissions from very short messages to one 158 character EAM. I may be wrong but if we were to be the target of such an attack wouldn't these EAMs be very short or are there other much more classified communications platforms unknown to the general public?

I also read an article about Brazilian pirates hacking into United States Navy "follow on satellites".

If you check the SATCOM forum out for past messages; you will find many frequencies used by the "Brazilian pirates" (mostly comms pertaining to the trucking industry).
They use the Portuguese language and the transmission modes are FM/NBFM.
Freq range for the satcom downlinks are
240MHz - 270MHz spaced 25KHz apart.
There have been some Russian comms in that range also.

Russians? Well okay but it's the Iranians with their "Not so secret" weapons grade uranium enrichment program. Back to the CD "Duck and cover elementary school wooden desk.

If you have Netflix, watch the house of dynamite. Gives you an idea of what goes on if someone launches one at us. If multiple nukes get launched at us, all you can do is bend over and kiss your arse goodbye.
