We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

As I'm not very computer literate, does anyone know if you can use a tablet and Win96 to program their Pro-96? If so any idea what tablet would be sufficient to do this. I was thinking of getting a Netbook but they appear to be gone. Any info would be greatly appreciated, i would like to keep this in the Ontario forum so I can get some what of a local answer.

Your question isn't location specific, but If the tablet runs Windows (NOT Windows RT) and has a USB port it'll work, no reason it wouldn't.
