Folks,
We received a submission for some updates to the Taylor Co WV portion of the database. It appears that all data that we had previously was imported from FCC data, with no actual confirmed information.
The submission received today looks to have some updated information. So I have commenced with updating the Taylor Co WV portion of the database at:
Taylor County, West Virginia (WV) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference
The person who submitted the information is (a) a relatively new RR user, (b) appears to have provided accurate information, (c) is not reachable via email or PM. As such, I've updated the DB as much as I can.
For those living in Taylor Co or who monitor Taylor Co, I do have a few questions I'd like to pose in order to confirm some other information.
1. We certainly could benefit from PL / DPL tone information. If anybody has recent confirmed PL/DPL tones for the frequencies listed in the DB, we would appreciate it if you could submit that info.
2. The submission indicated that both the Sheriff and Grafton PD are on 155.715, even though Grafton PD does have a license ofr its own repeater on 155.625
I have labeled 155.715 as Taylor Co Law Dispatch since it's being used by multiple agencies.
Can anybody tell me if 155.625 is in use by Grafton PD at all, or if they use 155.715 (the SO frequency) for all of their traffic?
3. The submission indicated that Taylor Co Fire was on 45.44 (licensed to City of Grafton) and on 155.935 (an unlicensed frequency).
My guess is that 155.935 is actually 155.9325 (which is licensed to Taylor Co) and that the submitter's scanner is perhaps an older scanner that is unable to be programmed to 155.9325 so 155.935 is what is seen on their scanner.
I have added 155.9325 as Taylor Co Fire Dispatch. Can somebody tell me if Taylor Co fire is also on low band 45.44, or if 45.44 is just Grafton Fire ?
4. I've added 156.00 (a repeater) for Taylor Co EMS, again per the submission.
I've taken the liberty of "fixing up" the Taylor Co DB so it is more presentable. Any clarification on the above information would be appreciated. Additionally, if you have information on other active frequencies in Taylor Co and/or if you have PL/DPL information for the currently listed frequencies, please post here or submit them directly to the DB.
I'll take this opportunity to say Thanks! to the submitter for providing updated information for Taylor Co. I'd say thanks directly but am unable to do so.
Thank you,
Mike
