Hey Guys,
Was looking for help to program my scanner to the Temple University Police scanner frequency in Philadelphia PA. I've tried a few ways and no luck so far. Anything you can assist with will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Mark, thats very helpful. Would I be able to hop on that frequency without any special codes from Temple PD? Also what kind of DMR HT do you use?

THX, happy to help. I have a Tytera MD 380 UHF HT.

Besides the DMR capable radio and frequency, you need to know the: time slot, color code and talk group.

You'll need a computer and software such as DSD Plus and a scanner with a discriminator tap to interface with the computer.

If the user has encryption enabled you will be out of luck. So far the system I monitor does not.

I went through the "Digital Voice Formats" forum here on RR and learned how to do it.

These are some of the places I learned about it
