Good day,, I just wanted to share I product that I purchase a week ago as a temporary window mount solution for "Fair Weather Scanning". I use the MFJ-310 WindowClip BNC which allows me to use my existing Remtronix antenna's and switch the antennas as I see fit. Now I say "Fair Weather" because the connection of the window clip to the portable antenna is not weather proof (it may be if you apply "Seal Tape") but that would negate the ability to quickly change antennas if you want to (and I do). The 10' coax is really thin and pliable so there is minimal strain on the scanner connection. I do have a Mag Mount Huslter (MRMBNC) antenna and I found that using the Remtronix with the Windowclip brings in more signals on my BC436HP and SDS100. So far no scratches on my window and no damage to the window tint. I also have the added convenience of easily switching vehicles or possibly using it in a friends vehicle who would otherwise frown on slapping a mag mount to their car.

Thanks for the info! I myself use a MFJ window clip mount and I must say for its design and size it definitely gets the job done if you can't have mag-mounts or drill in antennas.
