this is one i saved in my scanner from my trip to SL in july 06 i dont remember any info on it i was saving all the other id's i found, this will be the case for some of the next few i post

Per earlier thread, this is West Valley PD.
I have had zero hits on TG 50080, sites 2, 3, or any of the others I monitor. Do not use the RR database as the absolute truth. It needs to be used as a guide. Trunker, and your scanner, is showing us what is reality, now. The database is, (my guess, based upon experience) a compilation of information that came from many sources, not all of which were accurate, over many years. Things change. We now have the oportunity to make it right. If the database does not match reality, then we can change the database. Much easier than we can change UCAN's reality.

Seems to me that we should wait until we find out WHO is doing the surveillance. Is it West Valley, SL Co., Taylorsville, Metro, Atty Gen. office, who? I would hold off submitting it until it is positively identified and unfortunately it will take someone with a digital scanner to do that unless we can ID the radios.Rolfman said:

N7OLQ Id'ed this as West Valley in an earlier thread. I have heard several ops on this TG, once they were downtown SLC, but most of the comms have been out west/south. Bangerder and 7200 S was one that I can remember.
I checked my RID list, and most of the user are between 61519 thru 61724. Note, these numbers will only mean something to those running Trunker.
